Nicole Weiss Mariano Hello! This is my fourth year at Saint Sebastian School and I have loved every second of it. Teaching a variety of grades (kindergarten, 1st grade, kindergarten/1st grade, and now 1st/2nd grade!) has kept me engaged, excited, and eager to learn! I am so excited to have many of the same wonderful students, some new fantastic students, and the new awesome adventure of this combination class! My main focus as a teacher is to teach our students how to love learning. My teachers have instilled that upon me and I feel it is my job to pay it forward. Teaching is my passion!
I grew up in New Jersey and went to Rowan University where I graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Elementary Education, a BA in American Studies, and received my New Jersey Teaching Credential. I worked at Constable Elementary School for a year focusing
on helping students in a small group setting from grades K-5. I applied for and
received my California Preliminary Teaching Credential and then moved to Los
Angeles over three years ago. Although I am a Jersey girl at heart, I love
living at the beach!
